Moodie's Bakery is a family owned and operated bakery since July 4th 2008. Suwanna and Matt Upper have joined Queen St. while the downtown area attempts to revitalize itself. As the 'Q' district changes, Moodie's Bakery thrives and Suwanna's creations keep customers coming back for more. At the bakery you'll find some original recipes from James Moodie and many more timeless favourites. Come in for a visit, perhaps have a famous fern tart, and chat with the friendly staff about your 'Moodie' memories.
Who Are We
Suwanna, the Baker, Pâtisserie, and Chocolatier behind Moodie's Bakery, studied at Niagara College, George Brown College, and at the Chocolate Academy in St. Hyacinthe QC. She has demonstrated her skills at places such as, the former Fallsview Sheraton, and Peller Estates Winery. Matt loves his interaction with the customers, and is the mastermind behind the mouthwatering meat pies.
Suwanna contributes the success of Moodie's Bakery to the support of her entire family and especially to their amazing staff, Jessica and Matthew.
